Plastering
Before plastering the broken places, the edge of the old plaster is well moistened. The better the edges are moistened, the stronger the new plaster will grab them with them, which means that the surface of such a wall will be monolithic. If you moisten the edge badly, then a crack will appear at the junction of the new and old plaster.
