As the results obtained by the Levada-Center indicate the results of the Muscovites surveys, only a little less than half of them (41%) to the liking that the authorities decided to expand the territory of the capital, and almost every of the respondents is sure that this will not bring the expected benefit to the city. Based on the upcoming changes, residents of the capital are afraid that the cost of housing will significantly increase in those territories that will soon become “former” near Moscow. Also, metropolitan citizens are also confident that all these body movements are directed exclusively towards the possibility of laundering money, and therefore, again, the citizens surveyed are convinced that the government should deal with other problems, in particular, for example, the development of other cities that are directly related to to the Russian Federation.
